Resource Base 

I consider myself exceptionally fortunate to be able to introduce myself as the Executive Principal of two Academies Enterprise Trust Schools. Following a successful seven years at the Outstanding Percy Shurmer Academy in Birmingham,  I am delighted to be leading the learning at Beacon  Academy, and working with the wonderful children and families, who enjoy all that it has to offer.  Also being part of AET really means that Beacon Academy is part of a  family of schools that all work together to help deliver our vision: that each and every child can choose a remarkable life.

At Beacon, we provide an inclusive education for children from 2 to 11 years in our large school with extensive grounds and a swimming pool. We offer Nursery, Mainstream and Special Provision for children from 2 years old.

We are very proud of all that we are developing and in particular our curriculum.  We aim to develop lifelong learners with an understanding of our world and the people in it.   We promote creativity, mental and physical well-being and our mission is to enable our children to lead remarkable lives.  

At Beacon, our dedicated staff fosters positive interactions with children, empowering them to develop high self-esteem. These strong, empathetic relationships serve as the foundation for our comprehensive approach to promoting children's mental well-being and fostering a safe, inclusive environment free - where every child can flourish.
