Health and Safety

Beacon Academy Health and Safety:

At Beacon Academy the health, safety and welfare of all our students, staff and visitors is of paramount importance to us. We take that responsibility very seriously and as Site Manager I ensure my team put it at the heart of everything we do and we work very closely with staff to ensure activities/lessons are risk assessed not to curtail the learning and teaching experiences of our students but to ensure they are carried out in a safe and secure manner.

We also strive to ensure the building and all the equipment on site is maintained by competent and suitably qualified contractors.

We are held to account by AET and received an "Outstanding" Award for Health and Safety on our last audit.

As parents we will welcome your support in assisting us with managing the health and safety of your child whilst on site and reinforcing the importance of following procedures and our health and safety policies and conducting themselves in a manner that does not endanger theirs or the lives of others.
