Behaviour Statement

Behaviour Policy:

Teachers and pupils at the Academy work together to establish and maintain a learning and social environment which emphasis positive behaviour and where care and concern for others are valued.  Behaviour management is an integral part of the whole Academy curriculum which teaches appropriate and relevant social skills to all pupils. This enables pupils to participate fully in the home, Academy and local community and prepares them for the responsibilities of adult life in an ethnically diverse society.

The Academy still uses '123 Magic' behaviour strategies during lunchtimes.  Each year the children, together with staff, decide on the 'start' and 'stop' behaviours for their year group.  Each class has their own reward system that they work towards, gaining Golden Time on a Friday.

Separate class information can be found under the Pupils tab at the top of this page, followed by the relevant Key Stage pages.
