Behaviour Expectations


At Beacon Academy we expect:

 

Pupils:

To follow the 'Red/Yellow' card system (and '123 Magic' rules at lunchtime)

To understand that not following the rules have particular sanctions

To understand that good behaviour has particular rewards e.g. Dojo points

To fully understand that decisions are made fairly and in line with the school's policy

That respect has to be at the centre of everything that we do

 

Parents:

To support the ethos of the school and of our behaviour policies

To develop positive relationships with all teachers to support their children

To follow the playground charter of respect at all times on the school site

To understand that respect needs to be at the centre of everything that they do

 

Teachers and Staff:

To praise and reward good and excellent behaviour with Dojo points

To lead the 'Red/Yellow' card system (and '123 Magic' at lunchtime) behaviour scheme through the whole school

To follow the correct process of record keeping of any issues

To be fair with all pupils

To develop a positive relationship with parents and carers to support pupils

To understand that respect needs to be at the centre of everything that they do

 

Governors:

To ensure that all pupils feel safe

To ensure that all pupils are making a positive contribution

To ensure that all children enjoy and achieve without prejudice 

To ensure that every child has the chance to succeed

To ensure that all parents and staff are following the charter of respect within the Academy grounds

To understand that respect needs to be at the centre of everything that we do
