Curriculum Information

At Beacon Academy the most important underlying principle of a curriculum is to help children learn. We believe that a successful curriculum is brought to life by high quality teaching, inspirational learning activities and opportunities to listen and plan for the developing interests and motivations of children. As an Academy we are working creatively with Talk For Writing across the curriculum. Literacy and numeracy skills are applied successfully across the curriculum.

This is our curriculum topic map for 2016-17. Please speak with your child's teacher if you would like more information regarding individual topics.
