Reading Intervention - Years 5 and 6

Welcome to the reading intervention page for Key Stage 2, years 5 and 6. Here you will find information on the reading intervention that the academy has in place and ECaR (Every Child A Reader).  In KS2, in Years 5 and 6 the reading intervention programme is called Switch On. It is extremely important to read with your child at home and the earlier you start the better. It is good to read a book several times to reach fluency and read with expression.
